So, if you want to slightly diversify the game world and add more grass to Minecraft, you can use third-party add-ons, which will cope with this task literally in one click. Add more realistic environment to the game and enjoy its pleasant appearance. It’s in this article that we’ll tell you about one of these add-ons.

The More Foliage mod will add more vegetation and grass to Minecraft so that it doesn’t look crude and deserted. No matter which biome you are currently in, the system will add more grass to any ground blocks existing there. By the way, this will be done automatically. At the same time, this system will be useful if a player begins survival in a certain biome and needs to collect more wheat seeds to cultivate crops in the future or just grow more different plants in the game.

The vanilla world of Minecraft is far from perfect, although Mojang developers keep adding more and more different biomes every year. Most of them look similar: the same blocks, relief range, mixed trees and flowers. But the problem of common grass generation on the blocks remains acute: some biomes = really lack it, and even if you see a grass block, you won’t be able to get seeds from there: there’s no «grass» in fact! This is the problem that the More Foliage mod is aimed to solve, since it will replace the standard generation in the game and spread additional grass throughout the game world.

Today, this mod can’t be considered a popular one, since the developer has recently released it, but it’s created by the same person as Butchery (new cosmetic options for using food), Tough Beginnings (complication of Minecraft survival), Burrows (moles, burrows, bosses, and new dimensions in the game), and these aren’t all of his projects, although these are enough to demonstrate the person’s level and its quality. Therefore, we can safely assume that the More Foliage add-on will be actively developed and supported. At the moment, you can already download it for Minecraft 1.20.1, but with only Forge as a loader.

After using More Foliage in the game world, there will be by times more grass. But we recommend generating a new biome, since this mechanism may not work in an existing one. These are minor details, which you may not notice right away. However, dozens of such mods have been created for Minecraft, which allow you to make the game world more realistic. Indeed, there are plenty of options to choose from:

· Not Enough Animations – enhanced animations added for your character’s behavior;

· Simple Weather – an altered rain system with more effects;

· Biomes O Plenty – a huge selection of new biomes, where you can get access to thousands of new blocks, items, and dungeons;

· Thirst Was Taken – a mechanic that adds thirst to a character, and he can die from exhaustion;

· Serene Seasons – a cool mod for the seasons, which will change smoothly according to their own cycles;

· Fancy Block Particles – three-dimensional voluminous particles from all objects; for example, when you break or install a block, interact with various items.

As you can see, there are a lot of mods that make Minecraft more real, and this is only 1% of what you can still download for your build. Here, it’s up to each player to decide what and in what form to use. We recommend choosing according to your criteria, depending on what you don’t like in the game. And if you have a powerful PC, you can additionally install shaders with numerous parameters and various graphics improvements available. This way, all the grass from the More Foliage mod will seem even cooler and better, especially with high shader settings.

As a result, we can conclude that More Foliage is a relatively new but important mod for any player. It adds more grass to Minecraft and doesn’t load the launcher very much, so it can be run on almost any PC. After installing the mod, we recommend visiting a few forest biomes and woods to test and see how the vegetation will change. Of course, there will be no grass where it used to be none in Minecraft, since these elements shouldn’t appear there, but all other biomes will generate a certain level of grass, which will look really cool against the general background.
